At Impact Sac, we believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive. We are a Sacramento-based youth organization dedicated to serving young people ages 12–24 through the pillars of violence prevention, mental health, and substance abuse prevention. From direct programs and tutoring to pop-up enrichment experiences, community outreach, and large-scale events like our Student Voices showcase, Logout, and Lace Up 5K, we meet youth where they are in schools, on the streets, and in the community. While prevention is at the heart of everything we do, we also provide the support and resources to intervene when young people need it most. Everything we offer is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: that a brighter future is built by focusing on strengths, not limitations. That belief is reflected in the core values that guide our work every step of the way: H.E.A.R.T.

We listen first. Every young person has a story worth hearing, and we create space for their voices to be seen and respected.
We equip young people with the tools, skills, and confidence to take ownership of their lives and futures.
We show up for young people beyond our programs; in schools, communities, and conversations that shape policy and change.
We meet young people where they are, offering support, resources, and a path forward when life gets hard.
We work alongside young people, because real change happens together.

Every school year, Impact Sac runs structured program sessions centered around violence prevention, mental health, and substance abuse; giving youth consistent, meaningful spaces to grow. Beyond our programs, we offer tutoring, mentoring, and social justice opportunities including town halls, media campaigns, and community advocacy. At the core of everything we do is a simple principle: people over program. If a young person needs support, we meet that need first; no questions asked. We don't just prepare youth for the world, we help them shape it.

This summer, Impact Sac is doing something new. For the first time, we're bringing everything we stand for into one unified movement; a summer season of fun events, community moments, and experiences that young people will carry with them long after the summer ends. Come be part of something bigger !
Not everything needs a program, sometimes it just needs a moment. Our pop-ups bring enrichment, joy, and community to youth who may not always have access to those experiences. From hands-on activities to one-of-a-kind opportunities, every pop-up is always free to register because access should never be a barrier. You never know where Impact Sac will show up next.

Every young person has a story worth hearing. #CheckYoVibe is Impact Sac's podcast and platform dedicated to letting youth speak for themselves. From real conversations to raw perspectives, this is a space where young people advocate for their communities, share their stories, and challenge the narratives that too often leave them out. Anyone can join the conversation, all you have to do is sign up.

Our downtown headquarters is open to all youth and community members. While youth are welcome at both locations, we recommend attending the ImpactSac center closest to you for the most convenient experience.
Our North Highlands Youth Center proudly serves youth and families in the north area. Youth are welcome at both ImpactSac locations, but we encourage you to attend the center nearest to your community.
